Attorney Li Zhian from our firm traveled to Singapore and Malaysia to participate in training and inspection activities.

To thoroughly implement the “1310” specific deployment of the Provincial Party Committee and fulfill the “Five External Linkages” work requirements of the provincial government, and to further enhance the innovation capabilities of individual and private enterprises in Guangdong Province, deepen the understanding of the ASEAN market, and guide enterprises towards high-quality development with an international perspective, from June 25 to July 1, the Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision Administration and the Guangdong Association of Individual and Private Enterprises organized more than 40 entrepreneurs to travel abroad for training and inspection activities in Singapore and Malaysia. Li Zhian, Director of the Government Legal Affairs Department of Guangdong Kingbridge & Kingbond Law Firm (hereinafter referred to as “Kingbridge & Kingbond”), was invited to participate in the event with the delegation.

From June 25 to 28, Attorney Li Zhian attended the “Corporate Management and International Finance Training Program” at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and successfully completed the training. Professor Gu Qingyang from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS awarded him the completion certificate. Through a series of courses conducted by NUS, such as “Fintech and Business Applications,” “Leadership in the Technological Era,” and “Corporate Internationalization and ASEAN Investment Opportunities,” Attorney Li Zhian and the entrepreneurs gained new perspectives and innovative ideas for corporate development and successful international expansion. The training program also organized visits to the Monetary Authority of Singapore and BreadTalk Group, learning how traditional enterprises achieve digital transformation, technological innovation, and brand upgrading, and experiencing firsthand the advanced management concepts and service technologies of the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

Guangdong, as a pioneer and testing ground for reform and opening up, always remembers the instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping, and actively seeks to “go global” with gratitude and progress. On June 28, to deepen the understanding of the ASEAN market and further enhance Kingbridge & Kingbond’s ability to provide legal services for Guangdong enterprises’ overseas investments and industry exports, supporting their development in the ASEAN market, Attorney Li Zhian visited the Singapore headquarters of the Asia-Pacific International Arbitration Centre. He discussed with relevant personnel the effective protection of the legitimate rights and interests of Guangdong enterprises expanding overseas.

From June 29 to 30, entrepreneurs from the Provincial Association of Individual and Private Enterprises held discussions and exchanges with representatives of the Singapore Guangdong Chamber of Commerce, Singapore Guangdong Association, and the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce in Malacca. Both sides conducted in-depth and candid exchanges on further expanding trade between chamber enterprises and those of the Guangdong Association of Individual and Private Enterprises, strengthening cooperation in technological innovation, manufacturing, and other fields, and promoting economic and trade cooperation between Guangdong and Singapore, as well as Guangdong and Malaysia. The delegation members unanimously believed that this exchange should be used as an opportunity to play the crucial role of trade exchanges and cultural interactions as a bridge, radiating the ASEAN regional market, actively spreading positive energy, and building a more in-depth exchange and cooperation platform to lay a solid foundation for the long-term development of Guangdong enterprises in the ASEAN market.

This training and inspection activity is not only an important step for Guangdong entrepreneurs to “go global” but also an important opportunity for Kingbridge & Kingbond to enhance its ability to serve enterprises expanding overseas. Kingbridge & Kingbond will adopt a more open mindset and provide more professional services to offer stronger legal protection for the legitimate rights and interests of “going global” enterprises and contribute to the international development of Guangdong enterprises.
